There is a reason why it´s called the jewel of the Caribbean. A charming, loud but friendly town with lots of cute places and a strong historical vibe. Not to mention good restaurants and cool bars which we appreciated especially after our stay in the half wilderness of Capurganá.
After enjoying civilization for a bit,we were ready for some beaching again. And no better place for that than the white sand and turquiose waters of Playa Blanca. After the tourist boats left again, we had an amazing night on the beach. Private Salsa lessons on the beach, bonfire at nighttime and guided snorkelling tours the next morning included - some very friendly locals indeed :)
